If you’re having trouble getting the app to recognize your Core when it’s snapped into the gear, be sure that you’ve manually connected your Core on the Cores tab of the app. You’ll know your Core is connected when it goes from “Core: Available” to “Core: Connected.”

  • To manually connect your Core, add your core and tap the “Core: Available” button. From there, select: “Connect To This Core” and you’re good to go!

You’ll also want to put the garment on first, then snap in your Core. The garments contain sensors that must detect contact with your skin before the Core is able to pair. Also, If you’re already wearing the gear it helps to snap the Core out & back in again– make sure you hear a “click” that confirms the Core is snapped in properly.

If the Core still isn’t detected, clean off the Core and Mount that holds the Core into your garment. If the Core or Shell is sweaty or dusty, this can prevent good contact with the garment and make it hard to detect when it’s connected.

  • To clean the Core and Mount, wipe down the surfaces with a rubbing alcohol wipe or Windex. If you don’t have access to this, you can use a very moist paper towel. Just be sure to dry it completely before using it again.
